Monoreme is a website builder operated by ForgedWell LLC, a Georgia company (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we collect when you use monoreme.com, the Monoreme dashboard and the websites hosted on Monoreme, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
From account holders (business owners, partners and their team members)
- Account details: name, email address and a password, which we store only in scrambled (hashed) form.
- Website content: the text, photos, logos, business details (such as address, phone and opening hours) and settings you add to your site.
- Billing details: payments are processed by Stripe. We receive limited information such as your plan, payment status and the last digits of your card; we never see or store full card numbers.
- Support messages you send us.
From visitors to websites hosted on Monoreme
- Contact form messages: the name, email, phone number and message a visitor sends. These are delivered to the site’s owner and stored so the owner can read them in their dashboard.
- Newsletter sign-ups: the email address of visitors who subscribe to a site’s newsletter, held for that site’s owner. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.
- Visit counts: we count page views to show site owners how their site is doing. We do this without cookies and without storing visitors’ IP addresses.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep account holders signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking, and hosted websites do not set tracking cookies through Monoreme.
How we use information
- To build, host and run your website and your account.
- To process payments and send receipts, billing notices and account emails (such as password resets).
- To send site owners their contact-form messages and optional monthly reports.
- To generate draft website text when you ask our AI writer for help.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To respond to support requests.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only as needed to run the service, with providers that process it on our behalf:
- Stripe for payments and partner payouts.
- Vercel for hosting and file storage.
- Resend for sending email.
- Anthropic for AI-assisted writing, when you use that feature.
- Google for business lookups, when you use the business search or lead tools.
If your website was built for you by a Monoreme partner (a designer or agency), that partner can see and manage your site, its messages and its billing. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
How long we keep it
We keep account and website information for as long as your account is open. If you close your account, we delete your sites and their stored messages within 30 days, except where we must keep records (such as billing records) for legal or tax reasons.
Your choices and rights
- You can view and edit your account and website information in your dashboard at any time.
- You can ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing support@monoreme.com.
- Visitors who contacted or subscribed to a hosted site can ask that site’s owner, or us, to delete their information.
Security
All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS, passwords are stored hashed, and access to stored data is limited to what each account is allowed to see. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected users if a breach occurs as required by law.
Children
Monoreme is a service for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the date above and notify account holders by email or in the dashboard.
